Digital Art Explosion, April ’19, Watercolor Period 2

*****

More loving digital watercolor samples coming at ya…

First, a few from my “giant lips mandala” collection.  [Not a real mandala but an abstract effort which worked like one.]

And then, a mix of silhouette arrangements.

If interested, I have samples of these in other color schemes, as well, if you have a personal color preference and some project that would benefit from one of these compositions.

Digital Painting Sampler 4-26-2018

*****

I’ve been painting up a storm since I purchased Clip Studio Paint Pro (which is the closest software I’ve found to my previous, glorious photo editing program from the turn of the millennium, Photo Studio 2000).  [On that note, I still miss the ability to make text transparent with ease.  If it can be done with CSPP, I have not figured out how.]

I’ve been contemplating opening a separate portfolio/gallery space/account for my personal artworks.  But, I can’t seem to resist sharing a quick sampling.

These two were simpler pieces composed with silhouettes I honed.  The lines are result of a “burst” tool.  And, the rest is from an imaging/paintbrush tool (and text).

Can you guess who the following famous face and TV/movie characters are supposed to be, even if the gender may vary?  [Or, in the case of one image, a famous face posing as a movie character.]  In all of these cases, there should be adequate clues.

Previous to the above, I have been taking my fashion design skills to the next level by upgrading my old MS Paint boot designs.  Here’s just one of the many.  I went all out with the old GI*Joe action figure package back, too, so buyers (should these ever get made into a fashion line) can have collector cards for all of their purchases.  Yeah.  😛  Or, it’s a fun way to advertise the details before purchase.

American Holiday Mash-Up 2015 Ahead; Getting You Ready

In case you haven’t noticed, there’s a warm front of holidays blowing through (the U.S.A.) within a week’s time ahead. So, I’d like to take this time to send out the following wishes for happy celebration.

To those of you who still value love and romance, happy Valentine’s Day (Feb. 14th).

To those of you who have a passion for patriotism and U.S. history, happy Presidents’ Day (Feb. 16th).

To those of you who are Catholic, happy Fat Tuesday (Feb. 17th) and Ash Wednesday (Feb. 18th). [For those who are less/not religious, happy Mardi Gras (Feb. 17th).]

To those of you who share a fascination with the Far East with me or who follow the Chinese lunar calendar, happy Chinese New Year (Feb. 19th), the year of the wood sheep.

And, to those of you who are romantic, patriotic, Catholic, Chinese enthusiasts, happy Valentine’s, Presidents’, Fat Tues’, Ash Wednes’, Chinese New Year’s Day. [Phew!]

[If you need some help identifying the images in the enclosed artwork: 1) The big red thing in back is a heart for Valentine’s Day. 2) That’s Abraham Lincoln with the tall hat and George Washington behind him, the 16th and 1st U.S. presidents. 3) The powdery oblong object (doughnut) leaking raspberry jelly is a traditional (Polish/Catholic) treat. 4) That’s a thumb distributing ashes on people’s foreheads. 5) I would hope the last object on the right is obviously a sheep.]
